Carroll is a descendant of the Raminjeri Nation, Encounter Bay Coorong regions and Kaurna Nation, Adelaide Plains South Australia.

Widely travelled and with an extensive musical career Carroll specialises in contemporary and Aboriginal traditional music forms and is considered a master Didigeridoo performer and recognised ambassador for the South Australian Aboriginal community.

Indigenous Performers Management (IPM)

IPM has been established since July 2002 is derived from a need to develop a professional entity that provides expert industry advice and quality Aboriginal cultu4ral and contemporary products. In 2003 IPM was conceptualized as a direct result of the now defunct Ngarindjeri Narungga Dreaming P/L (NND), which specialized in creating theatrical presentations and the productions of Aboriginal song, music and dance.

Founder of IPM Carroll Karpany is the current sole trader, also performer and administrator of the company. Since IPM began in 2002 it has gathered momentum, and is a respected and well-known Aboriginal performing arts agency, domestically and internationally.

IPM offers theatrical presentations incorporating Aboriginal traditional and contemporary song, music and dance. The company has established a unique reputation built upon the ability to deliver expert advice, specialized Aboriginal cultural, contemporary experiences at competitive and affordable costs.

To demonstrate that Aboriginal Australia can modernize without substituting integrity and the simplicities of Aboriginal Australian cultures.

IMP is a major Australian Aboriginal owned recruitment agency based in Adelaide South Australia.

The principal objectives of the company are to maintain commercial viability and at the same time raise the level of Aboriginal cultural awareness to the wider community, and seeking to provide secure employment for all involved with IPM. Maintain proper cultural, social and environmental standards, expected to achieve a profit for IPM to continue to deliver a greater service.

Generate sufficient income to maintain the function of the company, so that we as Aboriginal Australians can continue to deliver a truer service to all levels of society.
NUKANYA

The name NUKANYA originates form the “Ngarrindjeri” language Groups of the Coorong and Lakes region of South Australia. Nukanya when, translated means – never good-bye but ‘to see later’ or ‘again’ and is a commonly use phase within South Australian Aboriginal communities.

Jyenari Karpany Musician / Performer / Ambassador

The name Jyenari when translated mean ‘my best friend’ Jyenari has successfully carved a professional reputation within the cultural performing arts industry. Known for his powerful onstage presence, dance abdication to sound, color, movement and emotions. Jyenari’s other skills include, music tuition (Didgeridoo / clap-stick / rythmes) dance tuition (depictions of the traditional styles).

Amoss Roach Musician / Performer / Ambassador

Since renewing his cultural pursuits in 1994, Amoss is one of the stars of the cultural performing arts industry. Amoss has successfully carved an extremely likeable but professional reputation within the cultural performing arts industry both nationally and internationally. Best recognised and known for his powerful onstage presence, dance abdication to sound, colour, movement and emotions. Amoss’s other skills include, music tuition (Didgeridoo / clap-stick / rythmes) dance tuition (depictions of the traditional styles).

Kelvin Sumner Musician / Performer / Ambassador

The youngest member to join the company Kelvin renewed his cultural pursuits in 1994, he has successfully carved a professional reputation within the cultural performing arts industry . Known for his powerful onstage presence, dance abdication to sound, color, movement and emotions. Arthur’s other skills include, music tuition (Didgeridoo / clap-stick / rhythms) dance tuition (depictions of the traditional styles).

Currently residing in Sydney Australia, Amber is an accomplished artist in her own right with a performance schedule in contemporary theatre and vocals spanning two decade. Dedicated to positive profiling of Indigenous performing arts productions to and amongst arts industry and corporate levels locally, nationally and internationally.

Shannon Sullivan Contemporary Performer (specialist)

Professionally engaged as resident choreographer, dancer and tutor. Shannon dictates years of
experience in, classical, ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern and interactive styles, specializes in contemporary dance forms and also dance tuition. Regular engaged by Indigenous Performers
